My approach

Life comes with challenges, and navigating them can sometimes feel overwhelming. If you’re feeling anxious, burnt out, or disconnected from yourself and your values, you’re not alone. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain clarity, and grow. Together, we will identify barriers, explore your values, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I specialize in supporting individuals through anxiety, parenting, stress and burnout, and relationship challenges. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which emphasizes mindfulness, acceptance, and taking meaningful action aligned with your values.

I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, or dissatisfaction tied to personal or relationship challenges. In our initial sessions, we'll explore the patterns and struggles impacting your well-being.

I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice. In our first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and determine the best approaches to support your progress. With ACT, we'll examine how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences, build acceptance of those thoughts, and focus on value-driven actions to create meaningful change.

In addition to ACT, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), strength-based, and person-centred techniques to tailor therapy to your unique needs. For couples, I draw from the Gottman Method to foster communication, connection, and deeper understanding in relationships. My approach is flexible and collaborative, ensuring that therapy aligns with your goals and values.
